Self Portraits

My girls are continually filling up my camera and Ipod with self-portraits. Hopefully this will help cure them of that habit. HA HA HA (I'm laughing evilly)

Charlotte's Birthday

Charlotte has been looking forward to this birthday since Christmas. Partly because she got to spend it with Ouma and partly because this is the big 5 and now she will be able to start school in the fall. She didn't have a lot of requests for the actual party except that it be "fancy".

Everything Charlotte does is "fancy".

Charlotte got the "fancy" bicycle she had been wanting.

And Aunt Frank supplied her with a "fancy" outfit to wear while riding the "fancy" bike. She was all ready to go.

Maybe a little too ready.

Carlsbad and Roswell

While my Mom was visiting us we decided to go visit Carlsbad Caverns. We had David's parents meet us down there. It was such a fun weekend.

The Caverns were amazing. The big room is the size of 14 football fields. Because it was so big it didn't have that creepy cave feeling. But Tabitha did say they smell like water and dirt.

Plus, you don't even have to hike down to it you can just ride an elevator. Fabulous.

The next day we spent in Roswell visiting with some of the locals.

They were so friendly.

Tent Rocks

A few weeks ago while I was teaching yoga, David took the girls to hike around Tent Rocks National Monument.

I love the handles E.V. found. What a good daddy.

Amelia Earhart

Ellie was Amelia Earhart in her school program .

She did a great job and looked so cute doing it.

How you doin?

It's either spaghetti night or E.V. has been getting styling tips from Jersey Shore.

Is it Halloween Already?

Yes, we have a calendar. This latest bout of insanity was caused by the scouts blue and gold banquet. David decided on the knights of the round table theme. You know me, any excuse to play dress up is a good excuse. So since David was the king obviously I would have to be the queen. The girls even jumped on the bandwagon and were princesses. It was a really fun night.

It was a fun night until they gave 30 scouts swords and let them loose. I have never been so scared in my life. I ended up backed into a corner, hoping to escape unscathed. Apparantly chivalry is dead in Camelot.

The princesses even joined the fray.

David doing his kingly duty.

Of course dinner wouldn't be complete without a rice crispy castle.
