The Best Sandwich in the UNIVERSE!!

OK maybe its my crazy pregnancy cravings but this sandwich is awesome. David and I were trying to copy Mrs. Powell's Turkey Special and I think we've got pretty darn close. So I must share the recipe with all of you so you can experience the joy.

Turkey Special Sandwich

3 TB chopped chives
4 oz. cream cheese
Mayonnaise
Alfalfa Sprouts
Thinly sliced deli turkey
Romaine Lettuce
Chunky Cranberry sauce
Good Bread

First you soften the cream cheese then stir in the chives. Then on one slice of the bread spread a generous amount of the chive cream cheese after that a layer of cranberry sauce then several slices of the turkey. On the other slice of bread you spread the mayonnaise then add alfalfa sprouts and the lettuce. Smoosh the two sides together and prepare to be amazed!

Our Trip to Utah

The girls and I just got back last week from our whirlwind trip to Utah. It was great! A little too fast but we were just grateful that we got to go. We arrived there on my niece Ana's birthday. The catch was that none of my sister's kids knew Tabitha and Ellie were coming.

It was a great surprise when Ana found them hiding in the back of the minivan.

Ana even shared her birthday party with Charlotte. And after three attempts Charlotte actually let Ana blow out her candles.

Ouma made a whole new wardrobe of clothes for Charlottes baby dolls. Gottta love Ouma.

Our main reason for going to Utah was for my nephew Nick's wedding. This him striking a studly pose.

Charlotte loved the "princess" and begged to get a picture with her.

This is my cutie new Great-Niece Klara.

My fabulous friends even took time to have lunch with me. Aren't they gorgeous? Thanks guys for taking the time. I loved seeing you all.

Of course no trip is ever complete without a cousin's fashion show/rock concert.

Crazy Girls!

Charlotte's Birthday

Charlotte had her very first "friends" Birthday party. She was so excited about it she didn't talk about anything else for the week leading up to it and since she has already begun to plan her next birthday.

Charlotte loves Dora so the cake and the decorations were a no brainer.

We even had a visit from Dora who came to help us rescue the utensils Swiper had stolen.

I think the only quite moment was while the children were all happily jamming cake into their faces.

Of course opening presents was a highlight for Charlotte if not for the rest of the kids, since they all ended up in a hug that more closely resembled a head lock.
