First Pictures

I just had my first ultrasound. There was some confusion about my due date so they wanted to check. And officially I am due December 15 (The exact day David is finished with his program). Anyway I had never had an ultrasound this early so it was really fun to see the little alien baby wiggling around, kicking its legs, and especially hearing the heart beat. I realize that things can still go wrong but it does ease a little of the stress. Oh and David says that it must be a boy because of the way the technician labeled the body parts: Head, Body and Baby Dick (only David would think of that).

HA! HA! HA! That David! I'll have to show Cord that one!

Cord says the baby looks just like David and he said something else I won't post. Good thing they like each other! :)

I know the stress that can be alleviated with an ultrasound -- I hope you are feeling good!

Congratulations again!!!!

Chantel!! Congratulations!!! Decl 15 is a good due date, if for no other reason than that it is my birthday. I wish you the best in your pregnancy!

Yay! I love, love, love the ultrasounds. I find it so amazing though I'm sure within just a few years the technology will be way more advanced, but I love watching those tiny body parts move and think of this living thing in there. I know, silly observations but it's such a miracle. I'm glad everything is looking good. Take care!
