Catch-up

Tabitha's 9th Birthday

So Tabitha had a super exciting birthday. For her birthday she got the swine flu. Actually all three of them got it. We lovingly referred to them as the 3 little pigs. She did get a fabulous cake (made by David of course) it was a white cake with Chocolate Peanut Butter Frosting. And no she is not a huge Dora fan we were just out of candles. I think her birthday was salvaged by a shopping spree with her dad.

This pretty much sums up our week with swine flu. Lots and lots of Gatorade, Gatorade and hand sanitizer. This particular one is Charlotte's. I'm not sure why she felt the need for 3 straws but whatever it took to cram fluids down their throats. Happily we made it through the week without David or I catching it (Miracle), and the girls all had very mild cases. So I am very very grateful.

Halloween

Tabitha was the color Pink...wierd I know but she was happy, mostly because we sprayed her hair pink and I let her wear fake nails.

Charlotte was our Viking Princess. It was either this or Nacho Libre I thought this would be less embarrassing when she is older.

Ellie was our Egyptian Princess. Thanks for the inspiration Lexi.

Wow Tabitha is growing up fast! She is so beautiful!

What great costumes!! I really do love the viking princess -- so great. And the Egyptian princess in converse is priceless!

Sorry about the swine flu!

Happy Birthday Tabitha! You're looking like your pretty Mom. Charlote's costume is great, she's definitely dramatic enough to be a viking opera lady one day. So,I've been waiting to see what creative pregnant costume you came up with...so disapointing:)

YEAH you posted about Halloween!!!! I have been waiting.

I love the color pink -- great idea. I also love that viking -- so funny. How do you not just laugh all the time with her around. She is so great! And, of course, the Egyptian Princess is so cute!! Love it!

I cannot believe Tabitha is nine already!!! Say it isn't so! Wow! Happy Birthday Tabitha! We hope it was a great one. Now if you could just stop growing up so fast, that would be great.

Tabitha's costume is cute. Olivia would totally LOVE that same thing. She's been begging me for colored hair spray since they had crazy hair day at school. Your Viking Princess and Egyptian Princess are also great... though I would have loved Nacho Libre a little more! Since when did you care about embarrassing your kids?!

Oh sorry Tabitha, Happy Birthday! Hope you're all feeling better now. I have been such a germophobe lately using sanitizer all the time. Hopefully we dodge that bullet!

Where is the cake recipe?! David should start a baking blog for all these masterpieces. Looks awesome.
