What's Been Happening

We celebrated David's 33 birthday. He got all kinds of new BYU paraphernalia which he used when he went to the New Mexico Bowl. Go Cougars!

We played "Pretty, Pretty Princess" with Grandpa and he was the prettiest princess of all. We love having them so close.

We had Thanksgiving with a lovely family in our ward.

We went on a marathon car trip.

First visiting our friends in Phoenix. The Mesa temple was so beautiful. We made all the girls pose in the cactus garden. I love the look on Ambrey's face. She was not happy about standing by the cactus. We ended our lovely visit of the temple by swiping a few lemons, oranges and kumquats from the trees on the grounds. (Hell table for 1)

We stayed a night in Las Vegas. As we were driving in Tabitha says "Mom, I've just seen three inappropriate things." Despite the inappropriate things we had fun.

After stopping in Salt Lake for a few days we continued up to Idaho Falls to go to my niece Ashley's wedding. She looked gorgeous and even though it was freezing cold and E.V. was sick, we had a great time.

My nephew Nick and I trained my girls on the finer points of decorating the newlywed's car.

Two days after coming back Tabitha was in her school's spelling bee. She did great tying for 4th place. I swear the words are getting harder than when I was in it. Tabitha went out on the word "Lugubrious". When I was in a spelling bee I went out on the word "Couch".

WOW!!! David's dad as a princess... Lets face it that is creepy. Oh well, I aam sure your girls had fun with him. As for "Tabby" in her spelling bee I wouldn't have even gotten close to lubugrious or whatever the word was. Nice decorations on Ashley's car. Merry Christmas!

Hey, I think you're doing good to remember which word got you out of the spelling bee. Fun trips and gotta love the pic. of Grandpa Dick in "pretty, pretty princess" stuff!

We love Pretty Pretty princess around here too. Luckily, Daddy makes the best princess! :)

Looks like all is well. We were glad we got to see you just for a bit. Wish we were closer to each other.

Hey listen Chan. The next time yo come to Vegas, (which I can only assume won't be very soon) you had better give me a ring. I would just like to lay eyes on your beautiful face and smoosh kisses on those cute kiddos. I'm just sayin. You are in some serious trouble.
Love and miss your guts.
