It is hard to believe but we have officially been in New Mexico for a year. This year has just flown by. It seems like only yesterday we were flying out of Buffalo with Charlotte shouting happily "Bye Bye Buffalo". We celebrated our one year anniversary in the land of enchantment with a trip to our favorite Chinese restaurant.
Although we have been here an entire year the honeymoon still isn't over. I love New Mexico. I was thinking recently about how much I love living here and considering the difference between our time in Buffalo and our time so far here. And I remember celebrating that we only had a year and a half left in Buffalo and not celebrating that we had been there a year. It makes me wonder, if my attitude had been different if our time there would have been different. Because as much as I romanticize New Mexico there are some very negative things about living here. But we have only been looking for the beauty and that's what we have found.

Lucky you living the high life. In New Mexico you might think ten degres is cold but here in Salt Lake it is -5 degres with the wind chill! cold huh?
You look so cute in all your pictures with your super long hair. Did you get new glasses? I like them. Glad you guys like sunny NM. Places with lots of snow were never meant to be lived in. They're kind of like Antarctica...good for pictures and penguins.
