Family Reunion Round 1

David's family reunion was first. We spent a weekend camping at Cherry Hill. I say we but lets be honest. I'm a funsucking party-pooper who would rather have a root canal without anesthesia than camp. So David and the girls camped and I slept at my Mom's house with the baby. I know I'm a total loser. No need to remind me.

We did have a great time at Cherry Hill (during the day)

One of the evenings we had a Pinewood Derby. David spent like 12 hours making his and the girls cars. I thought only the dad's would have fun but the kids loved it.

Anyone want to venture a guess which car is mine?

We had a great time and it was wonderful to see everyone. And just in case your ever with your family and find yourself thinking "Wow its noisy". I'd like to leave you with this thought to ponder. There were 19 children under the age of 9. 10 of which were under the age of 3. I think my ears are still ringing.

Wow! Tabatha is more and more beautiful everytime I see her! The whole family looks great!

P.S. Ever heard of glamping? Google it. It sounds like the bset form of camping in my opinion.

You said it- you're a loser:) Just kidding. I love you-I just should have joined you. Walking across a camp ground to pee twice a night was a joy, not to mention sleeping on a deflating matress with a beaming street light shining over my head. Did I mention the part about 2 tired babies in a tent...yeah. However, you missed out on late night laughs and stories. We had a good time and it was fun to hang out with everyone. I would've loved to see Jonathan's reaction if your car won.

all I can say is loser for not visiting us when you were at Cherry Hill--you were practically in my backyard...although I have to side with you, I do not like camping. ;)

okay, I have to add another comment, I read the Peter Rabbit story to Scott who also was laughing heartily...and then he noticed the pinewood derby cars, he thinks the 'Cobra' one is freaking awesome and was admiring it for quite some time.
